Roast lamb is really the best way to cook this particular cut. .
Key to cooking here is making sure the oven is nice and hot first and then bring the temperature down as soon as putting the shoulder in. Make sure it is covered and the fat side is upwards for the best cook. Ideally a little lower cooking temperature than normal is where is best to cook this one, 160^* is a great start.
