1kg Cut, Grass Fed Awhi Farms Sirloin
This cut is often used for a Sirloin Roast, or cut up into steaks. This cut has a thick fat cap which will benefit from being seared off at the start of the cooking process, this will infuse the meat with great moisture. Ideally this piece should be cooked between rare and medium.
A good cooking guide is that for every 500 grams of beef, 10 mins of cooking time is required for rare, 15 for medium-rare, 20 for medium and so on, following cooking cover for 15 minutes loosely with tin foil and let it rest.
